Blue Sky Properties is owned and managed by Tim and Jennifer Brom, who are lifelong Grand Rapids residents. Tim began investing in the west side of Grand Rapids several years ago when he moved his building maintenance business, United Commercial Services, Inc., to its current location at 1330 Plainfield NE. Recognizing a need for updated rental houses in a fast growing area, he began buying and remodeling homes in the neighborhood near his business, and eventually he started Blue Sky Properties, a property management company that is also housed at 1330 Plainfield NE. Jen, his wife, joined the team shortly thereafter, and she currently runs the day-to-day operations of Blue Sky Properties.
